Das Album Rumours von Fleetwood Mac wurde ursprünglich am 4. Februar 1977 veröffentlicht. Es wurde zu einem weltweiten Erfolg, der in den USA mit 2 x Diamant, in Großbritannien mit 14 x Platin, in Australien und Neuseeland mit 13x Platin und einer Fülle von Platin- und Gold-Zertifizierungen in den wichtigsten Märkten ausgezeichnet wurde. Das Album enthielt die Dauerbrenner Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way, You Make Loving Fun, Gold Dust Woman, Never Going Back Again, Songbird und Dreams. Nach dem kometenhaften Erfolg des Albums begaben sich Fleetwood Mac am 24. Februar 1977 auf eine weltweite Rumours-Tournee mit Terminen in Nordamerika, dem Vereinigten Königreich, Europa, Südostasien und Japan.
Das Set enthält 18 Titel, die zwischen dem 29. und 31. August 1977 im Forum in Los Angeles aufgenommen wurden. Mit Ausnahme von Gold Dust Woman, das auf der kürzlich erschienenen Fleetwood Mac Live Deluxe Edition enthalten ist, sind alle diese herausragenden Auftritte unveröffentlicht.
