Don Van Stavern erläutert: "Der Plan der Produzenten war, dass auf der Platte jede Menge namhafte Gastmusiker spielen. Das fanden wir okay. Auch mit der Entscheidung, nachträglich eine Horn-Section zur Erweiterung des Klangbilds einzufügen, konnten wir noch leben. Was allerdings gar nicht ging, waren diese langen Intros zwischen den einzelnen Songs, die später in New York im Studio hinzugefügt wurden." "Riot Archives Vol.4" präsentiert die ursprünglichen Fassungen des Materials (aufgenommen in San Antonio, Texas) ohne die angesprochenen nachträglichen Änderungen.
