von Jürgen Tschamler (30.06.2011) Sabatons “World War Tour” war ein massiver Erfolg auf ganzer Länge und hat gezeigt, dass die sympathischen Schweden zu den ganz großen Gewinnern der letzten Jahre gehören. Die Frage der Fans nach einem amtlichen Livealbum, blieb da natürlich nicht aus und die Band hat Nägel mit Köpfen gemacht. Während der Sabaton-Cruise 2010 hat man die gesamte Show mitgeschnitten, die man nun unter dem Titel „World war live - Battle of the baltic sea“ veröffentlicht - plus weitere Songs, die man während der Europatour aufgenommen hat (plus einer weiteren Show vom Rockstad: Falun Festival 2008). Diese Show gibt es allerdings nur in der Limited Edition! Das Doppelalbum ist das ultimative Sabaton-Geschenk an seine Fans! Nach einem bombastischen Intro, geht es mit mächtig Dampf gleich in einen der Sabaton-Hits schlechthin „Ghost division“! Was für ein Einstieg! Überhaupt fällt in seiner Gesamtheit auf, dass die Jungs schon einiges an Hits geschrieben haben! Sabaton spielen mit einer Inbrunst und Freunde, die man ihnen in jeder Note abnimmt! Kurzum, „World war live - Battle of the baltic sea” ist ein fantastisches Statement einer Band, die einen langen steinigen Weg hinter sich hat und weiß, wem sie dafür zu danken hat: den Fans! Ein mächtiges Spektakel!
