Die mit zahlreichen Platin-Awards ausgezeichnete, englische Rockband ASIA wurde 1981 in London gegründet und feiert dieses Jahr ihr 40. Bandjubiläum. Das 10CD-Boxset "The Official Bootlegs, Volume One" enthält ASIAs außergewöhnlichsten und intimsten Liveshows, die sie in den Jahren 1982 bis 2010 rund um die Welt gespielt haben. Dazu gehören ihre Auftritte in Buffalo, USA, 1982; Worcester, USA, 1983; São Paulo, Brasilien, 2007; Tokyo, Japan, 2008 und London, UK, 2010. Die CDs kommen in einem offenen Slipcase mit wunderschönen Artworks des großartigen Malers und Künstlers, Roger Dean. Das Audiomaterial der fünf Shows wurde bis jetzt noch nie zuvor veröffentlicht, kommt in hervorragender Qualität und mit den originalen Konzert Soundboard Audio Sources für alle Performances. Des Weiteren enthält das Boxset ein 12-seitiges Booklet, das viele seltene Bandfotos, sowie Liner Notes des ASIA Experten Dave Gallant.
